The End of The Year

Some of my goals at the beginning of this school year are made a good friendships between friends, improve my english skills, and english grammar. Also go on a diet and reading 3 books a week and improve my piano. I think that I have met of these goals are  I made a good friendships between friends during this year, and I also improve my english skills such as listening and writing. And lastly I improve my piano. To improve my english skills, I watched American movies and read some english books. To made a good friendships between friends, I am be kind to my friends and help friends when they did help. To improve my piano, I practiced piano and listened classic musics. To achieve my goals, I got some helps from teachers. I didn't meet some of my goals because I didn't have time enough to do some goals. 


The goals for next year will be reading a book a week, getting taller, and watch many american movies. I think my english has improved this year, because during the weekend, I studied about english grammar.

Final Task: Analysis

While I am doing this Unit of Inquiry, I chose topic drawing human face. Also my essential question is 'Why and how will learning to draw human faces make me a better artist?' I chose this topic because I want to learn something new. So during the ESL class, I chose drawing human face. 

During knowledge, I researched how to draw human face step by step and I found some pictures that I'm going to use it. And while I am doing comprehension I compared between drawing human faces and drawing cartoons, explain the steps in drawing a human face and discuss why the pictures I found are good for learning about drawing faces. And lastly during application I draw a human face and show my drawing step by step in my blogpost. 


My essential question is 'why and how will learning to draw human faces make me a better artist?'. Answer to this question is drawing human faces is different from drawing some objects because in drawing human faces there are many technique in it such as putting a shadow in it and 3D perspective drawing. So through the drawing human face I could learn many skills and technique.

- Was this topic easier or harder than you expected it to be when you chose it? Explain why
- Can you describe some problems that you had, when completing your tasks for this project? What did you do to try to solve them?

The reason that I chose 'If you could re-do any part of your project so far, what would you change and why? Explain why' this question is I have ideas to answer in this questions. And also the reason that I chose 'Was this topic easier or harder than you expected it to be when you chose it?' this question is I think it is easy to answer. I chose 'Can you describe some problems that you had when completing your tasks for this project? What did you do to try to solve them?' this question because I had some problems when I do this project so I want  to answer this my question.

To describe what I will do to prepare my answers are
1. I will think about my questions.
2. Find more specific reasons and examples.
3. Review my uoi plan.
4. Write my answers in the note and memorize it.

I think I'm not rather well in this interview because my english speaking isn't good so I really do hard in this interview.



I did my work in my free time to prepare for my interview. I think I'm satisfied with my preparing time. To prepare for my interview, I answered to my questions and wrote in note then, memorized it. And I thought about more and more and then I reviewed the application part. 

I think I'm not really well during the interview. I think I did well on answering the questions. During the interview, I didn't say answers quickly and not in loud voice, so next time I will speak more clearly and put more information.

Level 3: Application

My to do tasks are drawing a human face, make a movie to explain the steps of my drawing and  show the step of my drawing. The completed tasks are drawing a human face and show the step of my drawing. When I draw the picture of the human face, I took the pictures of it with my camera to show my steps. I took photo about 6 pictures. And then I put my picture and put some informations on the bottom of the each pictures. This task is I was supposed to do.





First, must draw parallel line on the paper.

Second, draw formed of the human face and body.

Draw bit detail like hair, clothe, face, and neck.

Put parallel line in the face, and put eyebrows, eyes, noes, and mouth.

Put some shadows in neck and clothe, and put curly line in the hair to look more detail.

Explain the steps in drawing human face
1. Start by draw a oval for human head and put guides for face.
2. Think about where would I put the eyes, nose, mouth.
3. Draw eyes, nose, mouth in correct direction.
4. Draw ears and hair.
5. Draw background and clothes.
6. Sketching the shadow for the eyes, nose, and mouth to look more realistic.


Compare between drawing cartoon and drawing human face


The different things between drawing cartoon and drawing human face are 
- In drawing human face there are many shadow than drawing cartoon
- Drawing human face are more realistic.
- Drawing human face are 3D de mention.
- Cartoon are usually draw in the computer.
- They aren't same drawing skill.

The similar things between drawing cartoon and drawing human face are 
- Drawing steps are same.
- Drawing with same materials.


Why the picture I found are good for learning about drawing faces?
- The picture I found are good for learning about drawing faces because it is easier to draw it and the pictures are simple design. So I think the picture is really good for basic learner.

Unit of Inquiry, Week 1 Knowledge

I like this unit because through this unit I could have chance to learn things that I want to know and I like. My topic is drawing human faces and essential question is why and how will learning to draw human faces make me a better artist. 


My tasks for the knowledge level were
- Try to find researches that explain how to draw human faces more detail.
- Find pictures that I'm going to use it.
- Find the steps how to draw human faces.


So I researched how to draw human face step by step and found pictures that I'm going to use it.   The steps of drawing human faces are 
1. Start by draw a oval for human head and put guides for face.

Welcome To My Unit Of Inquiry


During this Unit Of Inquiry, what I am going to learn about is drawing human faces. My essential question is why and how will learning to draw human faces make me a better artist? The reason why I think it is important to learn this is I know more details about drawing human faces and I will get new information about it. The Area Of Interaction that this topic meets is Human Ingenuity because I must learn about drawing skills. I am a learner, so I will most likely choose activities that are drawing human faces. Some activities that I will do to learn about this are: Find the human faces that I need. To start the knowledge part of this unit, the activities that I will need to do are find information about how to draw more detail of human faces. Theses activities will help me to draw detail human faces.

I think monday I have many things to do so I can't do my work. But the other day except monday I have enough time to do my work. I will do my work in my free time. I will take my free time 30 minute and I will do my work 30 minute a day. I think manage myself isn't difficult for me.

To make this imovie, first we chose a partner who is Kwiyeon. We went to gmail and make a new document. In the document we wrote our conversation that will put in our movie. After finished that we went to Dvolver and chose any characters and scene that we want. Also we wrote our conversation in the Dvolver. And then we sent our movie to my email and put the video in the imovie. In imovie we put the background sound and recorded our voice. Then finished!

I learnt adverb usually put 'ly' at the end of the words and adverbs are modify the words. While I making this video, I make a sentences that include adverb. So this process I could learn how to use adverb. I enjoyed making this movie because I learnt how to make a movie and it's interesting! I like my partner Kwiyeon because while we were making this video we shared the work well. I think I was a good partner because I did responsibility.

What I Learned Today

Today in ESL class, I learned about what are the compound sentences, complex sentences, and run-on sentences. A compound sentence is more than one sentence put together with a conjunction. Example, "I play the guitar and my sister plays the piano". A complex sentence is a sentence that include independent clause and dependent clause. Example "I saw the beautiful shoes in the mall, so my mum bought it for me." In this sentence "I saw the beautiful shoes in the mall" is the independent clause and "So my mum bought it for me" is the dependent clause. A run-on sentence is a sentence that put a more than one sentence incorrectly. Example "I decided to buy some breads my mum decided to buy some chocolates" In this sentence there is no joining words. We could put joining word 'and'. Such as "I decided to buy some bread and my mum decided to buy some chocolates." If the sentence is too long, we could also make a new sentence.

What I Learned Today

Today in ESL class, I learned about what is complete sentence and fragment sentence. A complete sentence is a sentence that has a subject, predicate, and complete thought. Example, I want to buy a car. In this sentence, "I" is subject and "want to buy a car" is a predicate. Fragment sentence is a sentence that doesn't have a predicate, subject, and complete thought. Example of fragment sentence is "Wents to school." It's is fragment sentence because there is no subject and no complete thought.

Things That Stress Me Out


Things that stress me out are...
First, I am really stress with my pimples because I have lots of pimple. It is really bad. And second is homework. When I had lots of homework I got really tired and stress with it. Lastly, I am stress with insects because I hate insects. The reason I hate insects is some of insects are really noisy. Example mosquitoes, and flies.
